Yangon: Churches have been shut down during the Kovid Period, but the heart of Christianity has not closed, Cardinal Charles Boe, the Archbishop of Myanmar’s Archdiocese of Myanmar, said. He made this remark in a message sent on the occasion of the Divine sacrifice offered on the 17th of May. He praised the actions of the common believers who distributed food to thousands of people in hunger strike in slums, refugee camps, and villages during a health emergency.

The Cardinal said that no one discouraged them from witnessing the love of Christ through charitable works of solitude and loneliness. Those who want to see Christ in the church alone are now on the road to the great message of their love and sharing. He said that they meet Christ through subtle acts of humility.
