Kochi: KCBC Secretary-General Bishop Joseph Mar Thomas said that the Church of Christ should witness in the world with the poor and marginalized. He was speaking at the inauguration of Mizo Dei 2020 announced by KCBC at Palarivattom POC.
By nature, the missionary nature of the church cannot be allowed to dim. All believers must strive to forget the differences between the church and work together in fellowship and to be the constant presence of Christ in the world in the exercise of the pagan mission. He said the church needs a repentance in the matter of environmental protection.
POC Director Fr. Varghese Vallikkad presided over the meeting. Mr. Stanley Mathirappilly, Prof. Edward Etezath, Prof. Alice Kutty, Sister CC SABS, Brother Judson and Brother Jose Olic. As regards the working document prepared as part of the mission year, Fr. Varghese Vallikattu, Fr. Stanley Mathirappilly led the classes. Two hundred people attended the study camp.
