His Excellency, Archbishop Giambattista Diquattro, Apostolic Nuncio to India, celebrated the Eucharist together with His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias, Archbishop of Bombay. 32 Bishops from different parts of India joined celebrating the Holy Mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Name on 14th March 2018. His Grace Nuncio expressed his gratitude for the precious gift of being able to celebrate the Eucharist in the wonderful shrine.

As reported by the Archdiocese of Bombay (FB page), His Excellency Archbishop Diquattro remarked that “Jesus is the reflection of the Father; He is the face of the Father. This total attention of the Son to the Father makes it possible for the love of the Father to enter totally into the Son, and through the Son, carry out His action to the world…the great concern of love is that of overcoming death and giving life…now the Creator becomes present for us in Jesus. The plenitude of divinity dwells in Jesus. Therefore, according to the way in which we are before Jesus, we express our position before God, the Creator.”

His Excellency Archbishop Diquattro concluded his remarks by encouraging the faithful to do the will of the Father, the will of Christ, the will of the Holy Spirit; for these are but one will, the same power, the same Trinitarian unique majesty of love.”
