Thiruvananthapuram: ‘Darshanam’, a meeting of visually challenged members of the Latin Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram, was held under the auspices of the Archdiocese. Sangam Vattiyoorkavu MLA VK Prashanth inaugurated the function. In his speech, the auxiliary Bishop R. Christudas said that government programs being incorporated into the marginalized society of the visually impaired, are a great blessing to them.

Fr. A R John welcomed the gathering. KCBC Pro-life Thiruvananthapuram Regional President Anthony Peter gave the vote of thanks. He honored a wide variety of specialists from the field of vision. Amal Raj (State Special School Kalolsavam Classical Music winner), Rosy (Graduate Student), Sijo (Kerala Blind Cricket Team) and Christadas (Father of Nine Children) were honored. Sharing experiences and performing cultural programs for the visually impaired was the most enthralling part of the event. Prior to the meeting, the Archbishop of the Archdiocese, Suspakyakam, visited the functions guests.
