Imphal: Ngahminni Kholho, a teenager from Manipur, has been copying the Bible for 104 days during the lockdown following Covid. At the suggestion of her mother, the 16-year-old decided to copy the scriptures during the Corona period in order to increase her knowledge and wisdom about the scriptures. The mission began on May 18 and lasted until August 29. The Bible was copied in 1603 pages of the Old Testament and 626 pages of the New Testament.

Initially, it would have taken at least 10 hours a day, but since online classes began on July 20, it has been reduced to seven hours, said Ngahmini Kholho, now in Class XII. Engahmini added that he wants to serve the community as a doctor and that as a Christian we should lead exemplary lives and contribute as much as we can to the community. Ngahminni decided to donate a manuscript of the Holy Scriptures to the library of the Congolese Christian Church.
